Kayaking in the Daylight

“Learn the Secrets of an Estuary.”

Bring your own kayak, enjoy an afternoon naturalist-led tour on the Salmon River estuary.

Fee: $25 per person

This is a Bring your own...Event.  Basic requirements include:

  • Kayak/Canoe

  • Paddle

  • PFD (Personal Floatation Device)

  • Whistle (signaling device)

  • Non-cotton, Appropriate Apparel (Always dress for the water temperature which is cold.

  • Other Safety Equipment: Bilge Pump or Bailer, throw rope, float bags.

  • Waterway Access and Aquatic Invasive Species Permit (10' or longer boats)

Waterway Access and Aquatic Invasive Species Permit  - If your vessel is 10' of longer please make sure you have a current Waterway Access Permit from Oregon Department of Fish And Wildlife for your craft.  Click Here to learn more...
