Understanding the Earth under our Feet

A dynamic geological history of the Oregon Coast with a special emphasis on Siletz Bay and the Lincoln City area.

Our speaker is the renowned earth-scientist Scott Burns, Professor Emeritus of Geology and past-chair of the Department of Geology at Portland State University (PSU). He will be revealing how our coastline has been shaped over millions of years, including many of the land features we live with every day... so bring your questions and curiosity to this evening presentation overlooking Siletz Bay.
