Meet filmmaker Josh Havelind. An Oregon-based filmmaker and photographer with a background in marine biology from Oregon State University, Josh documents wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts throughout the Pacific Northwest. Through his work, he aims to share the stories of the natural world and deepen our connection to the places and ecosystems around us.

Biosphere Brew is a special release from Pelican Brewing’s Giveback Brew program, created in partnership and benefiting the Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative. This refreshing pale ale is made exclusively with Cascade hops, bringing together local craft brewing and a shared commitment to the Oregon Coast’s remarkable landscapes, wildlife, and ecosystems. Enjoy a welcome sample, order dinner, and raise a glass to the place we call home—and the community partnerships helping care for it.
